Terms of use
Last updated
These are the terms for using Networka. They are written to be read, not to be survived. By creating an account you agree to them.
What Networka is
Networka gives you a professional profile at a public web address, a way to hand it over — a tappable card, a QR code or a link — and a place to remember why a conversation mattered and what you said you would do next.
It is not a CRM and does not try to be. It prepares follow-up messages; it never sends one for you. Every message leaves from your own WhatsApp, email or phone, after you have read it.
Your account
You need a working email address and a password of at least ten characters. Keep the password to yourself — anyone holding it can read everything in your account.
One account is for one person. Accounts are not shared, and a card issued to you is yours.
Your profile is public
A published profile can be read by anyone with the link, with no account, and may be indexed by search engines. Put on it only what you are content for a stranger to see. You can unpublish at any time and the page stops being served.
You are responsible for what is on it — that it is accurate, that it is yours to publish, and that you have the right to use any photo you upload.
Other people's details
This is the part worth reading twice. When somebody taps your card and sends you their details, they are trusting you, not a piece of software. You agree to:
- Use their details for the reason they were given — following up on the conversation you actually had.
- Not add them to a mailing list, a newsletter, or any bulk or automated messaging.
- Not sell, trade, scrape or otherwise pass their details to anyone else.
- Delete their details if they ask you to.
Wherever you are, the law probably says something similar. This says it in advance.
Your cards
A card carries a web address and nothing else. No contact details are written to the chip, so losing a card does not leak anything, and a card keeps working when you change your name, your link or your job.
A generic card belongs to whoever connects it first. If a card is lost, pause it from your account and it stops resolving to your profile. A card issued to a named person or to a business is reserved and cannot be claimed by anyone else.
Delete your account and your cards are released rather than destroyed — they are physical objects, and the next person holding one can connect it.
What you may not do
- Impersonate someone, or publish a profile for a person who has not agreed to it.
- Use Networka to send anything unlawful, harassing, deceptive or unsolicited in bulk.
- Try to reach another account’s data, or probe the service for a way to.
- Automate account creation, scrape profiles at scale, or run the service’s paid features — transcription and drafting — in a way designed to exhaust them.
- Resell access to Networka as your own product.
An account doing any of this can be suspended, and one doing it deliberately will be.
Drafts written with AI
Networka can pull the details out of a note and suggest a follow-up message. It is a draft. It can be wrong, it can misread a date, and it is shown to you for that reason.
You read it, you change it, you send it. What goes out under your name is yours.
Availability
Networka is a young product and is offered as it is. It will occasionally be unavailable, and features will change. Anything that would lose your data — rather than merely inconvenience you — will be announced in advance.
Nothing here promises a particular uptime. Where the law gives you rights as a consumer, these terms do not take them away.
Ending it
Delete your account whenever you like, from settings. What happens to your data is set out in the privacy policy.
An account may be suspended or closed for breaking the section above, or where keeping it open would break the law. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why and given a chance to put it right.
Liability
Networka is not liable for a business outcome that did not happen — a deal not closed, a message not sent, an opportunity missed. It is a tool for remembering, not a guarantee of anything.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that materially affects your rights will be sent to account holders by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
